Though originally from upstate New York, Doug has been a Blacksburg resident since 1977. He is a former graduate of Blacksburg High School, New River Community College and Virginia Tech. Personal interests include making music / drumming, online trading, spiritual growth and hanging with the kids. Doug's wife, Tammy is a Blacksburg native and Middle School Special Ed Consultant / Teacher. Together they raise two sweet girls.
